Sobiya, Dmitrii, DeVonna, Raj & Fiona took on reductive cyclization of triplet alkylnitrenes in OL

Take a look at their publication in Organic Letters, 2023, on Light-Mediated Synthesis of 2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-1-pyrroline via Intramolecular Reductive Cyclization of a Triplet Alkylnitrene. We are fascinated that triplet alkylnitrenes can abstract H atoms, and thus can be used in synthesis of heterocyclic compounds.
